It shows only 302 ratings on my page. I have been a member and buyer and seller since 2001. I had a store for 1 year. I should have over 700.
Now it is obvious from my listings that some people left a negative for no reason or one had a reason but I was not smart enough, then, to have PayPal protection. The item was defective and the drop ship company could not send another item out soon enough and it was pricey.
More people enjoy leaving nagatives and I can write 10 times and can't get a positive. One person was nice enough to give me a negative for a person who had a problem with an item who would have received full refund if he let me know.
So, because of the false negative claims and little positive eBay froze my selling power to apx. 3 items per month. My store was closed. I now sell other places besides here. Just this is the best known.
So before you leave a negative please contact the buyer, then leave a negative. And when you win something don't forget to leave a positive remark. With the new rating system it is now getting difficult to sell on eBay or get the discounted fees that come now and again.
eBay should take into cosideration how long you have been a buyer/seller and how many negatives you have received and how many items you have sold in that period. They know, they made the money from you using eBay to list, sell and PayPal to receive funds and make labels.
