According to the new eBay® feedback system buyers can now not only leave a positive or negative feedback, but also anonymously grade our service in detail including the item description, communication, shipping time and charges. It's called DSR or "Detailed Seller Rating".
When they give us 4 stars, it may seem like a great score, for instance a 4 in communication means "Satisfied", eBay®, however, considers this a low grade. They will not let you list or sell any items if you have a average lower than 4.1.. this is not really fair for eBayers who do not sell many items. Their standards require sellers to maintain the average of 4.8 and above or be penalized with higher fees, which ultimately get passed on to buyers, and more.
The feedback system also changed so buyers can leave feedback a positive, neutral, or negative for the seller, however the seller cannot leave a neutral or negative, I had a buyer who did not pay for an item, when I filed an unpaid dispute the buyer refused to pay, once I got my final credit from eBay the buyer left a negative and would not remove it even though the buyer did not pay, I got charged a listing fee and we sale over 300 items a month!.. I just wanted to share my opinion of the new feedback system and how it is unfair for fellow sellers.
