*~*~ eBay TIP / TRICK / SECRET ~*~*

Hello Fellow eBay Enthusiasts!!

Have you ever searched for a particular item on eBay and just cannot seem to find what you're looking for? Many eBay Sellers offer items for sale in their eBay Stores, in which these results do not show up in your search results most of the time. If you search a keyword and there are 30 or more items that match your specified keyword, the item you're looking for may not be easily found! eBay only allows Store Inventory Items/Listings to show up in search results when there are less than 30 Auction/Fixed Price Listings for that item. For example, we just searched for a Laptop Skin for one of our Dell Inspiron B130/B1300 models, and the only results that we received we're for the keyboard skins, and not the case skins(because there were more than 30 of these skins being offered, even though if want what we were looking for). We used the SEARCH eBay Stores Link, and FOUND THEM!!

THERE IS A BETTER WAY to find just what you're looking for! If you search a particular keyword, and you get swamped with search results full of items you're not looking for, TRY THIS! When  you have searched the keyword and get the results using the standard search method, at the bottom of the page(scroll all the way down) past where it says Page X of XX, there is a YELLOW BOX that says GET MORE RESULTS. Inside of that box is a link to click that says See Additional Buy It Now items from eBay Store sellers, which allows you MUCH BETTER SEARCH RESULTS and ALMOST ALWAYS allows us to find the EXACT ITEM WE'RE LOOKING FOR!! By clicking this link whenever you search on eBay, this helps you maximize the amount of results you receive by listing ALL OF THE ITEMS on eBay that match your search requests! If you search as you normally would, you may only get results for say 45 items, and by clikcing the link, you could receive over 300 results, allowing you a BETTER SELECTION and many times your item at a BETTER PRICE!!

For example, say you're searching for a newly released DVD and after you search it, you receive over 500 results, but the price is too high for what you're willing to pay. Chances are an eBay Store may offer that same DVD at a much lower price, but it will not show up UNLESS you specifically search the eBay Stores for results.

Just minutes later, we'll search eBay and find the EXACT ITEM that they were looking for, and they ask us how we found it. ITS SIMPLE, you just have to use the resources that eBay provides!

So, the next time you're searching for an item on eBay, REGARDLESS of how many results you receive, BE SURE TO SEARCH THE eBay Store Listings as well!!

Also, when searching a keyword on eBay using the "standard search method", the search engine ONLY searches the Listing TITLES! So... if a Seller has the item you're looking for, but listing the info in the description rather than the title, you will not find it, BUT..... you can! After you search for an item, you'll see the Search Box in the upper left corner of your eBay screen that will contain your keywords. Below that Search Box is a little white box that says SEARCH TITLE and DESCRIPTION. Be sure to checkmark this and it will re-run your search, with usually showing MANY MORE ITEMS thatn in your initial search. Heres another example, we just searched for a New Release DVD that just came out a few weeks ago. While using the standard box search, we received only 151 results. We then checkmarked the Search Title and Description box, and 21950 results popped up! Thats because the sellers didnt use the title of the DVD in the Title of their Listing, but did describe it in their Item Description. Now, with that being said, we now have a MUCH BETTER SELECTION and MANY MORE LOWER PRICES!!

These methods are VERY EASY to do, and most of the time are VERY BENEFICIAL for you!

The next time you search for an item/items on eBay, be sure to try it out! You'll be AMAZED AT THE RESULTS!!
