I have been looking for a backhoe on the internet, the next thing I know I was getting these great deal offers. Being new to E-bay I was surprised about the offers. "Well grampa used to say, "if it look too good to be true, it isn't." I was suspicious because some of what they said was not falling into place, such as original location of a backhoe, location was in Florida, but the e-mail said the backhoe was in another country. They would pay all the shipping costs because wife worked for shipping company and they allowed her to ship free once a year. Well you just don't ship a 15,000 lb backhoe across the ocean for peanuts. I got these e-mails from almost every piece of equipment I bid on. Finally, I began to ask them for their name and address and I would mail them a bunch of money to find me a better piece of equipment. You know what, none of them answered me. Most of the e-mails were from someone at yahoo. I called the owners of one of the backhoes on a re-buy offer, he said he had sold the backhoe and it was a scam. Well, I did pretty good for a green- horne country girl don't you think?
Be very careful--keep your money in your wallet until you are very, very, sure. Thanks for listening---
