back before drifting was popular what i did is take my sports car out on a winter night over a mountain one hour before black ice is forming when going in too a long turn at seventy five miles an hour
my car a 1980 Z28 with hi performance suspension and muncie m21 rock crusher four speed never drift until doing 100 miles per hour into a long swept curved and some what scary dry but with black ice and knowing where it could be at five a.m. in the morning and lucking out . please read the rest.
the mounting was traveled over 289 times over the mountain i just knew where to expect black ice.
boy was that fun. great adrenaline rush drifting at seventy five when drifting the speed meter whould. then a year later i had some people add a truck nascar engine from a dealship whom dropped out inthe truck series. my cart was rebuilt somewhat all over like weld on subframe connectors and urethane bushings all and ever where that required a bushing. two weeks later my car now would drift if the pedal is to the metal.
the firt day run at high speed i started too drift and over corrected the over steer.my sight went bad a enough not to see though the next curve and the 85 miles an hours the g force from the first turn a 15 mile an hour curve i entered at at 45 mph exiting at 100 out of a horse shoe the turn sharp enough gave g force enough too lose my site and drove off too the right to avoid a collision at that time while drifting the left front wheel dug into the dirt on the side of the hair pin the turn after the horseshoe. turn which i lost my sight exiting turn with no sight i drove off to the right of the shoulder then my tires while drifting dug and flipped the the 1980 Z 28 if you like drifting keep it at track i try too ha ha
