I feel that buyers and sellers have responsibilities.  The seller markets and sells a product. They enter into a contract with the buyer when a bid is placed.  All transactions are stated in the contract, how he wants to be paid, and how in return he will ship the item, and to do that in a timely matter.  Feedback should reflect how he did his job.  A buyer is responsible to bid and pay for a product.  If this is done in a timely matter, his feedback should reflect this. 

Now to by displeasure with this seller....

I bid on 2 items.  Upon winning the first item, I paid within minutes of the end of the auction.  I also sent a message to the seller asking if he would hold the item til the end of the other auction and combine shipping.  It was a question.  I did not hear from the seller, no response.... I waited til the end of the next auction.  I won that item too, I waited to pay til I got a response from him re: combined shipping  I sent another message.   No response!! I sent another e-mail asking for a response, "Please let me know you got this!!" He sent me an e-mail stating that "He didn't remember offering combined shipping" well he didn't, but at this point, so I paid for the second item and waited. I still hadn't received my first item, that was paid for with priority shipping(2-3 day) at this point 10 days later.  So I sent him another e-mail telling him that was fine, but when could I expect my 1st item, as I had paid priority shipping.  He sent me another e-mail apologizing for being rude, as he thought I was another customer he was dealing with.  He would combine shipping and issue a refund for the difference.  Needless to say, my items were shipped together.  I e-mailed him again asking about the refund... Not to be seen!! Of course I gave him neg feedback,  as did 23 other people that month!!! He left me neg feed back also... being new to e-bay it hit me hard in the ratings.  I feel like I did all I could do to make this a pleasant exchange.  I listed all the e-mails on "myspace" in my blog.  He had the gall to say I was nasty and harrassing and  psycho... He is the unscrupulous one, not me.  As I stated above... I bid and I paid, that was my responsibility.... He did not fulfill his!!

The moral of this story...

Check feedback before buying from someone.  If they have several neg's in 1 month, maybe they have issues they need to resolve to be better business people.  Maybe they are going crazy and can't handle reality, who knows why people act the way they do?
