what's an ugly diamond?I thought all diamonds were pretty!

So you are new in  the  diamond  market  and  you have  read  all about  clarity, color cut  etc.Let's get  down to the basic basics.Just  like this:

If you are buying  for  investment- read another's guy guide.This guide is for people that want to purchase  a  pretty  diamond  ring- bid on ebay , get  their  ring  and  then say: this diamond  has no sparkle, it looks milky...I hate it!-so....did you buy  your diamond from a reputable ebay seller?did you pay  a  reasonable amount  for it?did  it  come  with  a  certificate?Did  the  seller  gave  you  details about  the  stone-at  least?

What  half words say...if  you see  a  two  carat  diamond ring  listed  and  the  seller only  refers  to  it  as  a  stone" not as  a  diamond...beware  of  sellers  that  will  start  items  at five  cents, word  the  listing  primarily to  make  you  think  that  you  are  getting  something  for  nothing.It helps  to  email  the  seller  and  ask  if  its  a  natural, mined  diamond, if  the  setting  is  gold-solid  gold  and  if  its  hallmarked.Many  sellers  provide  small  photos  with  little  information.Those  are  the  ones  we  have  to  email  and  ask  for  detailed  scanns  of  the  items.Dont  be  afraid  of  asking  if  a  diamond  is hazy  or cloudy, or  looks  dull .You  will  not  be  happy  if  your  diamond  looks  like  a  grain  of  rice.Inform yourself  about  color and  clarity  with  the  wonderful  guides  many  quality sellers  provide  on  thier  listings-remember  many  times  you  get  what  you  pay  for.Dont  expect  a  three  carat canary rock  that you  paid 2100.00 on  an  auction to  look  nothing like a canary diamond should  look.A river pebble  may  have  more  color  and  shine.Always  check  the  sellers  feedback -especially  when  you  buy  diamonds.Words  like- a  little  cloudy -a  little  yellow- or dark brown diamond are very indicative  of an  ugly diamond.Ugly  is  the  diamond you rather  keep  in  your  jewelry box because you  know  it  was  a  mistake!Ugly diamond  is  the  one  that  dissapoints  a  bride  to  be because  she  rather  wear  a  bubble  gum  machine ring  than the  one  you  got  for  her- because  its  so unatractive.Look  for  sellers that  mostly  do  jewelry.
