If you pick this book up, you will not be able to put it down.  I haven't read a book all the way through other than the 1st Harry Potter book, in years.  I read this book within two days.  The plot keeps you hooked to see what is going to happen next.  The symbology makes you look at things in a different perspective and when you see the symbols in the paintings, etc., you become more intrigued to search on your own the paintings, the organizations, etc.

It makes you think about religion, spirituality, churches differently.  So if you love a good mystery, with lots of twists and turns, this is the book to read.  On a scale of 1 to 10, this gets a 20+.
