In this guide you will learn how to install a dash panel on an ezgo e-z-go ez-go golf car.  Guide applies to all of the dash panels we sell for ezgo Marathon model.  These models include years 1986 to early 1994.

This guide applies to the following panels.

Dashes come in four colors:
  • textured ABS black
  • burled woodgrain
  • carbon fiber color
  • turned titanium.

These dash panels replace the existing drink holders built into the golf car.  Original drink holders must be removed from the car to install the dash.  Steering wheel does not need to be removed.  Principally there are two different styles of ezgo Marathon golf cars.  Years 1986 to 1988 and years 1989 to early 1994.

A few tools are required for installation:
  • cordless driver or drill bit
  • 1/4" drill bit
  • 1/8" drill bit
  • Phillips head driver bit
Years 1986 to 1988 refer to this picture.  Pictured is a 1987 ezgo Marathon golf car.

These years have a two drink holder secured with four rivets.  Two rivets on each side of the drink holder.  Tan finger points to rivet location on right side.  Use a 1/4" drill bit to drill out the rivets.  Drink holder drops down and out.  Place dash panel in position over two glove boxes.  Use 1/8" drill bit to put four holes in dash panel.   Two holes on each end of the dash panel.  Secure with screws provided.  Screws are in a bag with the keys taped to the inside of the dash panel.

Years 1989 to early 1994 refer to this picture.  Pictured is a 1992 ezgo Marathon golf car.

These years have a four drink holder secured with two Phillips head screws.  Use cordless driver with Phillips head driver bit.  Back out screws counter clockwise.

Installation complete!
