watch out for the fake john deere zippo lighters going around,,,,,appear to look exactly like a real zippo,,,,,stamped with zippo trademark on the bottom,,,,,,,first thing is they will not have the orange safety seal attached to the back side of them,,,all zippo lighters that leave the factory have this orange seal on them,,,,,,these particular fakes come in a little black plastic case with a small bottle of lighter fluid inside,,,,,if they do have the orange zippo seal on them, chances are they are a true zippo lighter,,,,if no seal,,,remove the insert and see if it has zippo stamped on it along with the corrosponding date code thats on the bottom of the lighter,,,,,if the insert only says keep away from children, and zippo on it nowhere,,,,,,it is a true FAKE,,,,,just thought i would let you folks out there know about these fake zippos,,,,,,
