This guide is more or less a rant about a seller on ebay who results to low brow tactics to threaten a ebay user who left them negative feedback.

I was trying to buy my niece a guitar for Christmas, and due to limited funds I decided to buy one from ebay.

Well I should have steered clear from ebay seller cmackirby2005

I won the item, I paid via pay pal, and then the item arrives.

well it all started when I complained to the seller about the shipping fee's for the item, the seller charged $30.00 total in shipping fee's ,  $25.00 for the shipping and $5.00 for the insurance.

when I contacted the seller about this, the seller was very harassing about it, so I mentioned it is circumvention of ebay fee's and they aren't supposed to do it.

well I more or less was told to screw off, so I notified ebay and I got the usual automated response and I left negative feedback to the seller for it.

the seller paid $11.00 to ship the item vis UPS ground, and the seller didn't even bother to pack it properly, just shipped it in the store box and that's it.

$19.00 in extra shipping fee's, I can see if the item was properly boxed and neatly packed, but that wasn't the case with this seller.

if it was $5.00 or $6.00 extra on the shipping fee's, that wouldn't be so bad, but almost an extra $20 outside of ebay?.

so in the meantime, the seller left harassing feedback with a positive, see due to ebay's new stupid system, you cannot leave a buyer a negative.

this seller left very harsh comments stating I mentioned something about sexual content with his pregnant wife, now who in their right mind does such a thing?, you know mentioning such stuff on ebay.

well it gets worse.

the seller starts to send harassing emails through ebay with another id they use.

this individual starts out by calling me a few cusswords, then tells me I have 24 hours to remove the feedback from cmackirby2005 or else he would use several ghost id's to place bids on all of my auctions so I would lose money, he gave me 24 hours to do this.

so I reported it to ebay.

then he uses ebay id 09packrat and threatens me by stating he should come up where I live and beat me for the way I am acting towards cmackirby2005 , he stated he knew where I lived.

Ok how would he know where I lived unless I did an ebay transaction with him.

then he used the ebay id kb.48229 to place false bids on my auctions, this id was registered on Sept 18th, the time all of this crap started.

so I kept removing the bids, then he did two buy it nows on items 140268180962 and 140268172476.

now here's the fun part, he never paid for either item, never contacted me in regards to either item, then he leaves me negative feedback.

how can I be at fault for those two auctions if the ebay user never paid for the items?, how can he make such remarks on my character if I never contacted him?

now I know this is all harsh, but it gets even funnier, all of the fake id's are associated to cmackirby2005 and they are registered to gmail accounts.

cmackirby2005 uses these id's to buy items on ebay, to shill auctions and for feedback manipulation.

here is a prime example, ebay item 380065543001 , it is won by the id 09packrat

the buyer immediately leaves a positive feedback prior to receiving the item, now wouldn't you find this suspicious.

I don't leave feedback until I receive the item, yet this bidder was a zero feedback bidder at the time the auction was won.

as for the fake id's look at the bid history between them and cmackirby2005, look at the patterns on the items that were bidded on and won.

I have printed all of the emails and such, and I have fowarded all of them to Illinois State Police and to my local police dept for investigation.

considering how this individual is going out of their way to do all of this, it is considered cyberstalking and it is a crime, and the threats on another person is not taken lightly anymore ever since 9-11.

I reported all of this to the internet fraud agency as well, and thanks to another ebay user who is a witness on how this seller is, it's only a matter of time.

I can provide all of the emails if asked upon, it is all printed and backed up.

none of this is made up, and you really have to think about this.

why would all of these so called different ebay users go out of their way to harass one ebay user over the feedback left to one seller?, all of the ebay users are the same person and it is the seller's husband, the wife sells the items on ebay and the seller uses the multiple id's to buy items and leave fake feedback.

recently there was a buyer who complained about how the item wasn't properly packed, good ole cmackirby2005 had one of the lame usual comebacks as always.

look at the negatives this seller has, look at the replies the seller puts to the feedbacks,

this seller thinks they are the best thing since sliced bread and they aren't wrong.

well know one is perfect, we all make mistakes, but this person reminds me of the so called master race from WWII

I admit I make mistakes, but rather than hiding under a bunch of id's, I actually try to help out the buyer and make amends, not an all out flame fest.

if this seller is conducting business like this on a regular basis, it is only a matter of time until it catches up with them.

UPDATE, three of the id's the seller used to harass people and shill auctions on ebay, have been removed.

This seller might have a few things to say about me, but all I can say is look at my satisfaction rate on ebay with customers, I don't bend people over on shipping fee's.

UPDATE APRIL 2009

I have had more people contact me in regards to this post, it seems the seller Cmackirb2005 still hasn't learned their lesson and ebay still hasn't done a thing about this seller.

this seller is one of those people who goes out and buys store returns, damaged merchandise and open box items to resell on ebay, I don't see a problem with it, "IF YOU GIVE AN HONEST DESCRIPTION AND TAKE A PICTURE OF THE ACTUAL ITEM FOR SALE AND NOT A SIMILAR ONE".

but look at the feedback, everytime this seller gets a negative, the seller automatically posts a retallitory remark against the negative they receive, sooner or later this type of behavior will catch up to this seller and bite them.

the other comment I have been getting is the shipping charges, sadly ebay isn't doing jack to the sellers who abuse this policy, I was a victim again from another seller, and there was no handling fees or such.

I have had 3 people recently contact me in regards to this guide and in regards to the seller cmackirby2005.

the seller is still using strong armed tactics on high shipping fees, and the seller is still retalliating on their feedback as well, this seller acts like they are above everyone else and when someone leaves them a negative, the buyer is 100% wrong and the seller is not.

this seller is one of those people who buy lots to resell on ebay, and most of themerchanidse is either open box items or store returns, there's nothing wrong with that, but you need to be honest in the descriptions, and you need to take photos of the actual item that is for sale instead of using the same photo over and over again to sell other items.

every item is not always going to be the same, and with so many negatives over 1 year, you would figure they would start listening sooner or later to the bidders.

Due to sellers abusing such policies and ebay not doing anything about it, ebay is slowly going down the toilet, ebay thinks all of their stupid ideas they have now will attract buyers, if the sellers leave, where will the buyers go?.
