Quick tips
- Never never never use any kind of bleach on your diapers. Bleach will wear out your diapers and give your child a rash.
- Line dry your diapers as much as you can.You may of course dryer dry your diapers but they will last twice as long line dried.
- Never never never dryer dry your diaper covers. Any diaper covers. The dryer causes the plastic or waterproof barrier to crack and crumble. This happens very fast and will lessen the life of your covers (which are very costly) about 80 to 90%!
- Use a diaper liner to make cleanup as easy as disposable diapers! Liners can be paper towels, baby wipes, maybe even shop rags. Make sure they are flushable and wont interfere with your septic system if you have one.
- Point your sons weather vane south as you pull up the diaper between the legs. (Took me months to figure out why his t shirts were always wet!)
- Infrequent diaper changes make it difficult for your baby's skin to protect itself from the many causes of irritation in the diaper area.
Try different covers or wraps. There are several different types because there are several different types of babies.
