I recently went to the Maddison Children's Museum Returns and Reconditioned American Girl Sale. I spoke to the lady that has help put the sale on every year and she told me that the volunteers use Oxy pads (in the jar w/ a blue lid) to clean the face and limbs. Considderring they have thousands of volunteer hours invested in reconditioning these dolls, I would take her word for it.
