at xmas I bought a scooter for my son as a big gift you know the ones where you get a huge huge box and its about 8 ft tall and you gift wrap the whole thing and leave it in the corner of the room and it takes up the entire corner.

The seller had good feedback a  few negatives but not enough to make you worry.You know number 2 thing you do after finding the item you want on ebay is to look the sellers feedback and really read the problems buyers have had with the person. This saves you a bunch of hassle. well this guy was a pawn dealer and close to here so I could pick up the item and didnt have to pay shipping and be afraid it wouldnt get here on time.

I went and picked up the item. absolutely beautiful. had the back duffle bag holder and everything. I knew my son would love it. I turned on the item and the seller said that even though I couldnt get it to move that it worked fine. however, I was buying as is according to the ebay sale he didnt say that at the time but we all know when a seller says as is thats what it is about.but if the sale says as is and it also states works great then it should work great. he said his worker had been riding it all over the parking lot and it only needed to be charged.

I paid him and boxed it up and put it in the van and took it to storage to wait for xmas. 15 days later we go to get it out of storage and plug it in to charge through the box hole and wrap the entire box. huge beautiful present this was. a first big boy toy for my little 9 year old man. I had to leave a note on it from santa saying he had to deliver it early because it was too big for the sleigh and all of the other presents so he still had to wait for xmas day to open the present. He opened the present and took it outside on xmas morning after 36 hours of charging. the thing wouldnt go. The battery showed only half charge. I had paid cash for the item. big mistake. I shouldve paid by credit card. bank card actually. that way the bank couldve fought for my money. or atleast pay by paypal ...he didnt offer that service.

he wouldnt refund my money and now avoids me because he knows when he sees me depending upon my mood in town I will either say hey there is the guy that ripped my 9 year off at xmas time!

The big thing to realize when purchasing this item you need to pay via a credit card so you have quick remedy to get your money back if they dont take paypal. never take a sellers word that the item works. This can be a huge purchase for you. as it was for me a single mom making this a big gift at xmas. If the auction says it works then you have cause for a refund. unfortunately at the time he ripped me off I was too sick to take him to court an ended up getting emergency surgery. It took 120.00 for me to fix the scooter. 8 months later my little boy finally got to ride it. dont be a victim like I WAS.

PAY BY A SERVICE THAT YOU CAN GET YOUR MONEY BACK QUICKLY. CREDIT BANK CARD IS THE BEST. paypal can take 30 to 45 days to get your money back sometimes. read my other guides.
