THen if there is ever a recall or has been a recall on that item the company will notify ypou directly. It is best for your baby to know what is good and what is not. also if you find a baby item to be defective or hazardous but the item has not been recalled you should always report in full detail the issue to the manufacturer. this way the company can issue a recall and other babies can be spared. Most baby items that were recalled involved some type of injury to an infant or child, such as but not limited to head injury, choking hazard, broken limbs, and entanglement.
