When the agreement between Motorola and the Italian design firm of Dolce & Gabbana expired after the exclusive availability in Italy only, the phone was sold in the U.S. by Motorola and supplied to T-Mobile stores. It was also available in Europe, Russia, and Asia. Although all the pc boards in this phone were, and are made at Motorola's facility in Singapore, the phone is produced at one of several plants (U.K., Germany, and Singapore). All the current versions of this phone which do NOT have a serial number like the Italian ones, have only two colors on them: satin gold and light gray. For a while the German phones had a blue M above the screen, and now it is gold. The words "Dolce & Gabbana" are engraved on the lower back piece. These phones are no longer being sold in the U.S. by Motorola, and you can expect that any you see for sale that are new, come from Europe or Asia. The quality of the existing phones is excellent, and it can be said that this is the top of the Razr line with the exception of the very costly Razr V8 Luxury phone. Accessories for the Dolce & Gabbana phone are not being sold in the U.S. anymore. Existing cases, charms, and earphones are almost depleted from dealer inventories. These items will also come from outside the U.S. All authentic versions will come with the D&G charm. The H700 D&G Gold Bluetooth does NOT come with the phone but may be added by the seller.
