Applique is an easy and fun way to embellish your embroidery designs . applique embroidery is a three or four step process. step one gives you an outline of the design ,and you use this to place your applique material. Step two is again an outline which tacks down that material.You the trim the material as close to that line as possible.step three is a zigzag stitch which covers the edge of your applique material and adds the details . Some people use four steps by using two steps instead of my second step, but I find this is not necassary.
