I bought a copy of Symantec Norton System works 2005 with 1-year free update.  Now, I had used Norton before and was extremely happy with it.  I have beta tested alot of their products, and was happy with that too.  This was a first for me.  System works, not only crashed and burned, with no recovery, but when it crashed, it took down xp, with it.  I was informed by symantec, to un-install then re-install.  Unfortunately, that didnt work either.  Because during the crash, norton, wiped a few files out....my little girl came in and asked if I was going to load that other software...i did and it has been working fine ever since.

There is something to be said about outsourcing, your work.  And this is it, I think.  I wrote to symantec, 2-weeks ago about this, i received 2-coupons, for their free software, but I have tried several times to reload system works 2005, to no avail, and now system works 2006 will not load either.  You can you the utilities on the disk, as long as you do not load system works.  Norton let in 47-viruses.  It took another anti-virus program to locate and get rid of these viruses.  Unfortunately, several of these viruses, are designed to tear apart norton and mcafee.

Viruses, are getting more and more aggressive, trojans are being more and more sneeky.  We have to many people out there, with so much time on their hands, they think, they own the internet.  And no one belongs on the internet.  Bad news for the virus makers, you bring down the internet, you cant get on either, and if you do, there is no place to go!  Think about it people.

No shopping, no visiting with your friends across town on the im, no more text or picture swapping.  No more blogging?  can you and the hackers and the trojan-makers and virus makers live without the internet?

A lot of us can...it is a tool.  But, for some, they will go stir-crazy.
