... and if they are they could die from it. Every parent must read this. Now, you probably didn't know this—because you're a normal human being—but kids apparently like to huff cans of compressed air. Boy, children are really high-tech these days. Back when we were small we stuck with markers, glue, and chalk, but now they're getting all futuristic with compressed air.
Which is really not plain "air". It also contains propellant. Which they use in refrigerators. It is a heavy gas and when inhaled it fills your lungs and keeps the oxygen from getting in. Kids feel dizzy and buzzed. It decreases the air to the brain, heart and all other vital organs. It kills instantly. You can not tell when you have had "to much" like with many other drugs. The first time could be your only time and your kid could die with that straw in their mouth. Many inhalants have come before this one but Air Duster is far worse. Allot of parents don't really know what they are buying when they purchase this drug. Most parents just think, oh my child is cleaning the keyboard. But in reality what you child is really doing is inhaling this stuff to get high. It is so dangerous because even if you only use it once it can kill you. It causes a low toned voice, with slurred speech, it makes you dizzy, and makes everything seem bigger and more larger than life than it really is. Kids love this drug because it is virtually impossible to get caught if you are smart about it. There is no odor, they high wears off in about 2 minutes, and it can't be detected on a drug test. I would strongly advise you to talk to your kids about this drug and anything that comes out of a can. You would not believe what kids are doing especially boys ages 9 to 16. They go so far to spray body spray into a towle and huff it! Get the facts and talk to your kids!
