This guide is to provide beach wedding brides with information how to plan a beach wedding on budget.
Statistics say that the average wedding today is anywhere from $20,000 to $30,000, an incredible amount to spend on one days events, even if it is the most special day of all.
Luckily, beach weddings can be far less expensive, provided, of course, that you set a reasonable budget, taking into account all of the little extras you'll be needing. It's a good idea to have a file on the computer, or at least a notebook or folder filled with receipts and estimates so you'll always know how much you've spent, how much you have left to spend, and whether or not you'll have to cut any corners anywhere.
You also certainly won't want to burden any of your guests, so be sure everyone will be able to afford their accommodations and transportation costs before adding them to the invite list.
The Accommodations
A large number of hotels offer great incentives to brides and grooms-to-be including free airfare to their wedding destination, a free room on the couples one year anniversary, and discounts for other stays throughout the year. Visit all of the major hotels websites to see what deals and discounts they offer to couples getting married and what packages are available for beach or destination weddings.
Instead of a hotel, consider renting apartments, condominiums, or villas as in some places, many can be considerably cheaper, even at discounted hotel rates for booking multiple rooms. There are also plenty of all inclusive resorts to consider as several offer numerous incentives and benefits to couples getting married, like free honeymoon suites or free wedding cakes.
Some airlines will also offer discounts to groups of ten or more people flying to the same destination and will even include information for brides to send to guests with their invitations or save-the-date cards.

The Invitations
The invitations for your wedding will set the stage and give guests an idea of the theme of the day as well as necessary information like the time, place, and when to respond by.
Because you are having a beach wedding, there may be quite a few additional details you'll need to give guests, such as the accommodation plans and what to expect in the case of inclement weather. For this reason, you may want to choose simple invitations without all of the usual matching inserts in order to make room for all of the extras that will need put in the envelope.
You may also want to eschew traditional invitations and instead opt for hand delivered ones, which are especially nice if you are having a smaller, intimate affair, but of course, not very feasible for larger celebrations with more than 50 guests or so. It's also a great way to save money on postage.
This type of invitation could include the "message in a bottle" style, which you can purchase or make yourself for a truly personalized touch, or scrolls of parchment paper decorated with beach themed items like sunsets or palm trees along with the details of the event.
Whatever style of invitations you decide on, just be sure they convey the beach theme in some way along with all of the other necessary details.
