Did you know Lavender also prevents some burns(like sunburn) from blistering?

Beyond the soothing scent of lavender oil, you can put it on a burn that you might get in the kitchen or a sunburn from blistering.   It is better than aloe in my opinion.  So think about this oil as a DRUG to use on your burns in the kitchen beyond the ones you would buy in a pharmacy.  

There is a YLEO story about a chemist who burned himself and thought he was putting his hand after he burned it in water, instead it was a beaker of lavender oil.  To his astonishment, the burn which was quite bad, healed in record time without any scaring.
