Hi, my name is Tiana and I'm 21 years old. I started on eBay about 2 years ago and I'm totally addicted! Here are some helpful tricks I've learned along the way, to keep you happy, your buyers happy, and your time and money wisely spent.
First, look for things to sell around your house. If you live with your parents, ask them if they have anything for you to sell. Don't sell your mom's Rolex without asking!! Big Mistake!!
Second, Listing you item. You cannot sound like a 2 year old. Would you buy anything from anyone who sounds like a 2 year old? I wouldn't! The more info. you put into your listing, and the more honest you are when describing your listing, the better seller you will become and you will get repeat customers for having a honest reputation.
Third, Feedback is a must. POSITIVE feedback. I have 100% positive feedback and let me tell you when i search to buy an item, I rarely buy from seller that don't have 98% or better feedback. Its the way eBay lets you know who is trustworthy online.
Fourth, Shipping. Shipping was the hardest part for me. Making time to go to the post office is hard, but I learned to get all my listings ready and list them around the saem time. When they end, and buyers pay, you can make 1 or 2 trips and get it all gone! The quickewr the shipping the happier the buyer.!!
Fifth, as an ending please make communication with your buyers. If shipping might take longer, offer a dollar back refund. MAKE YOUR BUYER HAPPY. Communication is VERY important. If a buyer tries to email you and you never respond you dont look professional. How do you feel when you have a important question to ask someone and they ignore you? you feel forgotten about, ignored and sometimes like you dont trust the persona.
In conclusion please email me if you have any ?s I made this guide becasue i wish i had read one when i first started.
