Are you tired of being outbid in the last few seconds of an auction?

Here are a few tips to guarentee a winning bid! It is actually very simple.

  1. Don't wait until the last minute to bid. Bid Early!
  2. Place your bid above the amount you really want to spend. Let's face when it comes down to it you get frustrated when you are outbid. If you put your max bid in at say $20 and it sells to someone else for $21, you end up saying to yourself "Darn, I should have bid $22.00" - so bid HIGH the first time.
  3. Nibble....You have a seven day auction: Day 1 bid, Day 2 bid, Day 3 bid, Day 4 Bid, Day 5 Bid, Day 6 Bid, Day 7 Bid. You can not outbid yourself. By placing multiple bids you have started to scare away your competition.
  4. Use sniping sofware, they can be your friend. They are cheap and easy to use. If you are manually sniping, anything can happen in the last second, like let's say the power goes off. UGH!!
  5. You can not be outbid on a buy it now or store item, so go ahead and don't be afraid to hit the "Buy It Now" button.
