Clay City Pottery has been in business since the late 1800's. It was Clay City who made the first bowl in the Reverse Picket Fence design. Since then they have added additional designs. Such as the Window Pane. They started making everything by hand and still do so. Altho they have added new Kilns to accomadate the large orders,  its still a hands on affair.  Its been family owned and operated all these years and they take great pride in what they make.
