I have a f18d yanmar I bought in texas where there was a yanmar dealer. However I moved to Michigan where there was no dealer in the near by area and parts were hard to find. I have learned over the past year that John Deer sells ever thing you need you just need to ask for the wright thing. My F18D is a 22 hps 4x4 it has the same axle as the 750 John deer so when I go to John deer I ask for the parts for the 750 not telling them I am using it on the F18D. For some silly reason they have a sign up not to do any thing for the Grey market tractors. The moter in my F18d is the same as a 3510 I think that was the nume I may be wrong on that but you get what I am saying Just stop and look at the dealers and then tell them to compare it with your part. Another thing I have done is take the part to John Dear and Just say you need it when the ask what it is for play dumb " it is for my green tractor." do you know the model ? "it the biger tractor but not a giant one. the normally will look up th part number and give you the part then ask them what model did they get it for. this will tell you next time what to ask for. I love my Yanmar and I am having it in the local prade pulling the church float. I get people all the time asking what it is and I point out to the John Deer people that some of the deers were red before they painted them green. Other wize my F18d is the same tractor is the 750 just a differant hood and a differant color.
