There is a repeating scam selling non-existent Yamaha keyboards under stolen eBay IDs. They are easy to spot by the following characteristics:
1. There is a large font message in color with an anonymous email address (Yahoo!, Hotmail, etc.) telling you not to use the eBay contact address.
2. It is usually a one day auction. This makes it visually obvious because the new auction "rising sun" icon is at the "ending soonest" end of the list.
3. Bidding is usually private.
4. Starting bid is low with no reserve ($100 or less).
5. The item has no relation to the eBay history of the seller's ID - check the feedback auctions, or if they are out of date, check the recent feedback of the sellers/buyers to see which categories of items they deal in.
6. There are a lot of auctions started at the same time for nearly identical items.
7. Grammar, spelling and punctuation are poor, listing is short on description.
