As we  start to  prepare for the next sabbat the yule of the year thoughts  go to gifts and  presents to honor WINTER SOLITCE.. YULE .. December 22nd
            The shortest day of winter when the life-in-death goddess also known as the leprous-white lady  gives birth to her son/lover who wil re-fertilize her and bring back the warmth to her kingdom.  Yule marks the death of the holly king  of the waxing year, and rebirth of himself in the form of the oak king , of the waning year.
In some of the gift giving at this time to honor the  chaning of  seasons  readying the earth for the recycle of birth ,  its also a good time to practice the craft in making  gifts for our friends and family
some gift ideas to  consider in your craft
are  :
Witchs balls , or friendship balls that bring your blessings to a home and family ;you can buy clear balls at a craft store and paint the inside of them in colors that you wish to bring blessings to your friend ,

Golden  blessings bags (decorate them as you please ) you can  fill them with herbs as bay, bayberry, blessed thistle, cedar, chammomile, evergreen, frankincense, holly, juniper, misitletoe, oak, pine cones, rosemary and sage. 

Yule logs that you can  drill holes  to hold candles and melt  white whipped wax  and decorate . . in the  festive  ways to honor the  birth and death of the oak king .

Remember that in all  faiths , we  practice the blessings  this time of the year no matter what   our friends and familys call it .. .be it winter soltice,  yule , or christmas .

Its a time of loving and remembering the gift of love and friendships . .  just some ideas to pass along  for your own  creative ways .
