As it enters the 3rd month of xbox 360 sales, many people are wondering "is it really worth it" "when will I be able to get it?"
"how does everyone else know when theyre in stock" and "should I just wait for Sony's PS3?" Heere I will tell you the answers to those and more. First of all, if you are having trouble getting one, don;t worry, your not alone. I was only able to get mine yesterday, (Febuary 22)and I found a nifty little thing called the xbox 360 tracker. Yes, you can download a FREE program that autamatically checks the inventory of local best buys and circuit City s. First, go to google. Search "untitled xbox tracker" and go to the first site, and follow all directions. Although it is free, they do take donations, wich helps.
Is it worth it, and should I wait for the PS3
YES, it is worth it. Ive had it only for a day and it is the best game system ever. I have call of duty 2, and even on a non HDTV, the graphics are awesome. So, if you have an HDTV, you would get almost movie-like graphics. VS. the PS3, xbox ha better exclusive games like HALO (Halo 3 is coming out 2006). Also, the PS3 is releasing in Japan in the Spring, wich means it won't be available in the US until the winter, and there will be another freenzy like the 360, except by then xbox quantities will be higher and prices lower. And, judging by the graphics of the launch games, the games will be much more advanced and itll take Sony a year or two to catch up.
So, All in all, xbox 360 is better than ps3, unless you are a diehard Kingsom hearts or some other strictly-Playstation game.
Some game sugestion are Call of Duty 2, Madden NFL 2006, MLB 2k6 (april), The Godfather (July), Dead or Alive 4, Need For Speed:Most Wanted, and many other great games.
PS-If you get a 360, get the premium-it upgrades to a wireless controller, had hd cables, xbox live headset, and comes with the hard drive, wich sells for a $100 and allows you to play original xbox games AND, it covers all of your memory (i spent at least $100 in memory for my gamecube).
