XBOX 360 Shortage? Microsoft expects 3MM XBOX 360s in 2005
Couldn't buy your XBOX 360 in stores today huh?!
Me neither. I went to the following - ALL were out:
Best Buy, Toys 'R Us (2), CompUSA, Sears, Target and Frys.
Well - your best bet in on eBay - where there are now over 13,000 XBox 360s
available... a sure sign that there is high demand and weak supply
(judging by the cost). Yet Microsoft claims that they will ship and
sell over 3,000,000 Xbox 360s by the end of 2005... right:
"Microsoft intends to sell 2.75 to 3 million Xbox 360 units by year’s
end despite reports of a 50% pre-order shortage. The Redmond,
Washington company also plans to ship 5 million units worldwide by the
end of its fiscal year, June 30."
