Wusthof Knives
For many chefs and food connosieurs, the name Wusthof connotes the highest possible quality in fine cutlery and knives. Wusthof is actually a German company which claims to pride itself on the manufacture of precision forged cutlery (according to the Wusthof website). The company is located in Solingen, Germany and was founded in 1814. Many of the best chefs of world...from Europe, the United States, Asia, Africa, the Middle East, and elsewhere...rely on Wusthof knives for chopping, dicing, mincing, cutting, pounding, peeling, skinning, fileting, and other culinary needs. The Wusthof company sports a prominent TRIDENT symbol in its logo design.
Many customers and consumers enjoy the quality stainless steel construction and robust grips supported by the Wusthof set of cutlery. The company makes a large number of products, including some that are very typical:
