You've heard "if it's too good to be true, it probably is", right? Beware a silver Jeep Wranger Rubicon that seems to be cropping up for sale with great mileage and an even greater Buy It Now price (my instance was for $8400 for a $22,000 Jeep). I emailed the seller to see if maybe the buy it now price was incorrect only to receive an email stating how the auction had "just" been cancelled due to a seller using the buy it now option and then not having the money. She stated she needed to sell it for a downpayment on a house. So, I replied back that I was interested still and immediately received a very ebay-looking page with consumer protection information, how to make payment (this case was MoneyGram), etc. Long story short, I did some research and verified that the email's domain (webpage) was actually an eBay-spoof page. I emailed eBay and, as I suspected, it was a scam.
Someone else got hit with a similar situation (is his case it was again a silver jeep the seller had been awarded it in her divorce). Of note, I also tried to call the seller at the phone number that was given and it wasn't the correct number.
Hope this helps to keep someone else out of trouble - make sure you look at the sellers stats and no matter what do NOT use any vendor to send CASH. Credit cards have fraud protection and PayPal has consumer protection, money does NOT.
