Working with Friendly Plastic using an electric fry pan:

Making jewelry is easy using Friendly Plastic. There are several methods you can use.

-Cut the plastic into desired shapes or break apart like mosaic pieces
-Place in hot water or on a baking sheet or in an electric fry pan.
-Colors can be blended while warm making new colors
-Friendly Plastic can be sculpted with your hands or pressed into a mold while warm
-Allow to cool or emerse in cool water to set
-Attach jewelry findings with glue (I use GOOP)
-My preferred method is using an electric fry pan for the folowing reasons:

-You can control the temperature
-You can manipulate the plastic using tools while the plastic is hot (do not touch by hand when hot)
-Common kitchen tools can be used (no expensive tools need to be purchased)
-Pieces can be added during the process (creating depth)
-This method is very portable (for demonstrations, classes or convenience)
