Working out at Home, what are the Pros and Cons?
Pros:
- No Travel Time
- No Crowds
- Less Distractions
- Less Expensive over the long run
- Showering in your own home after a workout
- No Gym Lockers to rent
- You don’t have to worry about unloading weights or cleaning equipment after every set
- You choose the music
- Usually Smells Better
- No screaming, grunting, or slamming
- Provides a gym for the entire family
Cons:
- Spotters aren’t always on hand
- Less Equipment to choose from
- Professional Help isn’t always available
- First Aid Help is a phone call away, which can pose a problem if you get hurt
I started working out at home, I joined a gym for 3-years, but I am back in my home gym. Home Gyms are a much better alternative to going to the gym; they save money and can provide workouts that are just as intense as the gym. Building a great home gym is easy and affordable.
