Step back and look at how you are selling from a buyer's perspective.
- What do you first notice?
- Are you providing enough information for your buyer so they know exactly what you are selling?
- Are you providing enough images?
- Does your page scroll on and on forever?
- Is the text easy to read?
Branding is one of the most important selling tools for any business. Without it, your buyers can easily be confused by who you are and often lose faith in purchasing from you.
Just recently with branding I created for an Italian sewing machine seller, sales skyrocketed. A few sales in 12 months on eBay, increased to over 80 in the first month with the new branding!
I = interest = Get eBayers interested in what you are selling. Your headline will do this
D = desire = Promote benefits first which gives the reasons why they need your product, then promote the features of the product
E = enthusiasm = Get them interested in purchasing rather than just window shopping. Create urgency in your selling. Example: limited time, limited stock
A = action = Call to action by using words such as BUY NOW or BID NOW or you may miss out! Tell your buyers what they need to do
S = sold = Get your copy in your listing ad correct and you have a sale!
