Woodsball Gear- Mods, accesories and Markers

This guide is all about woodsball gear and what you need to know. There are a few other guides on woodsball gear here on ebay and I highly recommend reading those along with this one. So let's start with the most obvious topic: Markers.

Well first off if you have been looking for a good, durable woodsball gun then you have probably heard of Tippmanns. Their best marker (in my opinion) is the A5 and most people would agree. It has a bazillion mods that you can buy for it and it comes with the patented cyclone feed system, going up to about 15 bps (balls per second). It is also designed to be able to be field stripped without allen wrenches. The popular gun made by Tippmann is the 98 custom. Almost has as much mods as the A5 but is generally around 80-100 bucks cheaper. If you buy either of these I suggest getting the "power pack". It comes with the gun, a hopper, 9oz tank, goggles and maintenance kit. This only adds about 20-40 bucks more onto the original price of the gun. 98 MSRP: $140 A5 MSRP: $220

Smart parts also makes good woodsball guns, such as the Ion and the SP-8. Read about these in other guides. Ion MSRP: 199.99 (recently lowered) SP-8 MSRP: 299.99

Tippmann also makes a less popular but still good gun called the Pro/Carbine. Rarely any mods found for it but it is known for its durability. MSRP: $150

Mods, mods, mods, mods, mods, mods, mods mods mods. So many mods for the A5 and 98 (especially). Good barrel brands are: Flatline, Stiffi, Smart Parts, CMI, Custom Products, and Opsgear. Theres more, but thats all I can think of right now.

Stocks help keep the gun still while shooting and make it more comfortable and make it look a lot cooler. common stocks are: Collapsible, Folding, Combat, and fixed. There is not really a specific kind that is generally "better" so it just depends on what you like.

Gear for woodsball must be durable. Most people use Co2 and some use HPA  but thats boring so I won't go into it.

Sights, which you probably already know, help you aim and line up your shots. Most common kind is red dot. Usually are around $20-$80.

Well thats it I hope this guide helped, if it did click the thing at the bottom saying helped just because your nice. I didn't cover nearly everything but I may make another guide covering more. Remember to look at the other woodsball guides, too. Thanks for reading
