Winston Justice - 2006 NFL Draft Winston Justice
Winston Justice was born and raised in the Southern California area. He attended Long Beach Polytechnic High School and earned dozens of football awards, including Super Prep All-American, Las Vegas Sun Super 11 first team and Long Beach Press-Telegram "best in the west" first team. All told, he made nearly 40 pancake blocks in the 2001 season for Long Beach Poly.
Thanks to his remarkable high school career, Justice was selected for the elite University of Southern California Trojans football team. He studied sociology in college and trained with Mike Tyson's former coach, Freddie Roach, after receiving a temporary suspension in 2004 for a student conduct mishap.
During his freshman year, Justice received incredible acclaim from review boards as well as honors like the Scripps Football Writers Freshman All-American First Team, the Sporting News Freshman All Pac-10, and other awards for offensive tackle. The Philadelphia Eagles selected Justice in the second round of the 2006 draft (he was 39th overall).
Justice remains friends with Darnell Bing, who played football at both Long Beach Poly and USC. He enjoys calypso music, and he continues to improve both his on the field game and his off the field physical workout routine. He has a major following in Barbados, the country from which his mother hails. The number of NFL fans in Barbados are sure to rise as Justice continues to play.
