Are *YOU* Tired Of Worrying Every Time *YOU* Go Camping?

Who Else Wants Tips For Safely Using A Catalytic Heater You Can Count On?

Well, you don't have to worry anymore!

Here are some helpful tips on enjoying a warm and cosy camping trip in your cabin, trailer, ice hut, or boat without having to worry about starting a forest fire.  These tips below are specifically meant for Coleman Brand Catalytic Heaters made before 1970:
  1.  Be sure you only use clean Catalytic Fuels.  Be certain they are specified for use in Catalytic Heaters.  If you are using a Coleman Brand of Catalytic Heater that was made before 1970, you want to use  Coleman White Gas in it.
  2.  Make sure the boiling range is between 150 degrees F and 225 degrees F.
  3.  Ensure the fuel will activate the Catalyst without flame.
  4.  Never use automobile gasoline or fuel with additives such as Tetra ethyl lead or lubrication oils.
  5.  Store fuel in a clean metal can.  Never use glass bottles or plastic containers.
  6.  Be careful to fill the fuel tank outdoors away from fire, flames or anything else that is burning.
  7.  Before you travel, empty any excess fuel and burn until dry, if possible.
  8.  Carry and move your Catalytic Heater in an upright position.

In confined spaces, make sure you have enough ventilation to replace the air that the heater and the people use up.
