Many people are unaware that Wild Animal Skins can be tanned and then used for decorative purposes. From rugs on the floor, to wall hangings, to upholstery in furniture coverings.

Living in South Africa has given us a magnificent opportunity to see and enjoy the many wild animals that used to roam freely around the African continent. Due to the far-sighted thinking of a number of our ancestors, and in particular one of the previous Presidents of South Africa, Paul Kruger, we now have expansive Natural Reserves where we can now see these animals in their natural habitat.

From the small Duiker to the huge Eland of the antelopes, we have seen them all and will continue to enjoy doing so as often as possible. Due to our location in Cape Town, we are also very well placed to be able to obtain many of these skins at very good prices.

Check out our other items! All of our skins are culled by farmers to prevent the ravages of over grazing that can so easily happen when there are wild animals increasing in population. This means that none have been killed for sport or pleasure!

Once the skins have been removed from the animals they are tanned by professional tanneries around the country. This ensures that the skins are of a very high grade and will not break down or have the hair falling out.  After many years of wear one will, however, on any skin begin to see signs of wear. We are able to source a wide variety of skins and would be very happy to help you should you desire large quantities for any reason. Please do call us so that we can help.

We are striving to have the widest selection of Wild Animal skins on ebay, and will constantly be increasing the selection shown.  At present we have Nguni cow skins, Springbok (the National Emblem of South Africa) skins as well as Kudu skins. We can obtain Burchells Zebra, Blue Wildebeest, Impala and Hartebeest. We can also supply any of these skins in either bleached or died (colored) variants. Look at the pic of the died Springbok skin at the bottom as an example.

When these died skins are made up into cushions or furniture, bed covers, or simply hung on the wall, they make rather a dramatic impression. Buy one and see the reaction from your friends! Don't forget to view them and our other items in our eBay store.

Be sure to add us to your favorites list so that you will easily be able to come back to buy more from us.  We look forward to being able to establish a lasting relationship with you over time.
