Everyone who owns an Ebay Store should investigate what keywords you are using in your store front. Here is what Ebay says about Search Engine Keywords. "Below are keywords currently used on your eBay Store pages. You can customize these keywords to increase your chances of potential buyers finding your store pages when using search engines such as MSN, Google, Yahoo, and so on. eBay uses these keywords to create page Titles and Meta Tags that help search engines better understand and present your eBay store pages."
Here are some simple examples that have profound results, especially if you sell any of these items noted below.

The answer should be Coca Cola........you're probably asking why? The answer comes from utilizing a program called Keyword Discovery, (see my "about me" page) which is an advanced keyword research tool. Incidentally there are other keyword search tools such as Overture and Google. I just happen to like the fact that Keyword Discovery has a specific Ebay search only feature. With that tool I was able to determine how many searches were made for a particular word or phrase on Ebay. Here are the results for Coca-Cola.
1) Coca-Cola - 4,560
2) Coca Cola - 22,028
3) Coke - 4,751
Here are some other interesting results showing that it's all in the spelling of the keyword:
Dr Pepper - 6,473
Dr. Pepper - 157 (yes..... you read right it's not a typo)
Doctor Pepper - 9
Pepsi-Cola - 381
Pepsi Cola - 2,711
Pepsi - 7,065

Harley Davidson - 310,379
