This is a swatch of Prismacolor Watercolor Pencil Grass Green brushed with water.
- Watercolor pencils are water-soluble. You draw with them like a pencil and then brush water over the pencil marks to get a watercolor wash effect.
- You can also dip your pencil in water for a more opaque effect, or brush your water-loaded brush against the lead of the pencil before applying it to paper for a more subtle effect.
- Watercolor pencils are an easy way to take watercolor on the road. When dry, they can be used like regular colored pencils.
