Why the Cyberhome CH-DVD 300 DVD Player is AWESOME
This nifty little DVD player handles both NTSC and PAL format DVD's with ease, and can play DVD's from ANY region. It also offers progressive scan via component outputs for connection to HDTV! There are also the standard composite and svideo (svhs) type of video outputs for non-HD connection. It will also play Video CD's (VCD's) and Super Video CD's (SVCD's) as well as the awesome KVCD format, although KVCD isn't officially supported, they have been tested by several persons using this DVD player.
The output of this neat little DVD player is standard NTSC for North American type television sets, thus when it encounters a PAL DVD, it converts the video to NTSC ON-THE-FLY. It can be made to play DVD's from ANY region with just a few keypresses on the remote (see the end of this article).
