1. Buyers cannot trust feedback ratings. Etsy deletes unfavorable ratings on a whim.
2. Copycat Sellers Steal and sell your work -Etsy HELPS them.
3. Gestapo Tactics: Etsy muzzles Sellers and drops them without warning.
4. Flooded with imported junk. Etsy promotes them...real crafts get the shaft...
5. RUDE: Etsy drops sellers -POOF  and  buyers feedback  -Poof- without warning or notification.
6. Sellers if your shipping is late...(even within normal deadlines) Etsy tells buyers to report it to Federal Internet Crime Bureau..
7. Sellers if a buyer backs out of a transaction and you mutally agree to cancel..Etsy may drop your store completely even though you have 15,000 positive feedbacks...ETSY is out of control.
8. Etsy has immature management.
9. FYI-very few people ... make a full time income from Etsy
10. If you want to leave negative  feedback on Etsy..just leave the rating ONLY...otherwise it can be removed.

Etsy is supposed to be a homemade craft place. It used to be a nice place for buyers and sellers. Not so anymore.
I loved Etsy for Eye Candy...you know finding neat stuff. I make jewelry for myself (not to sell). I enjoyed Etsy for ideas...
infact so much so... I got my own Beading yahoo group and promoted Etsy stores...trying to help them get sales and recognition.
Then I bought a tutorial form Etsy. It was garbage. Did not work. Was not well thought out. The seller was polite and said something like "gee you must be more advanced. this is basic". So I left negative feedback. I wanted to warn buyers. The seller apparently objected to the feedback and it was removed...without warning...so there the seller was with my money and 100% feedback.
 
So if you see 100% feedback on Etsy...do not believe it...  Savvy sellers just get negatives removed.

If you want to leave negative  feedback on Etsy..just leave the rating ONLY...
 Etsy would not restore the negative rating...without any words...

So I went to Paypal and contested the sale... Etsy Seller agreed to settle...

Still I will publish my Don't use Etsy blog...on blogpot...
