I sell a wholesale list that I created myself. A potential buyer asked me recently why I would sell a list in which "you could become a Powerseller" if in fact I wasn't one? Wasn't I using the list myself? Wow what a dilema. And the worst thing is that he's right!
I see lots of auctions for items on How to become a Powerseller being sold by non-Powersellers. If these in fact these worked, the seller would have achieved the title of Ebay powerseller.
My potential buyer put forth a challange. He would will buy the list under 2 conditions:
- I have to Become a Powerseller in 3 months ( Mid January 2007 I became a Powerseller)
- I have to buy from only 3 wholesalers or dropshippers from MY list
I took him up on it. All I had to do was sell $3000 in 3 months and put at least 4 auctions up per month. I also told him I would buy from only 1 dropshipper from the list.
In 35 days I sold over$3,000 and became a Power Seller in 9 weeks!
So if you buy a list make sure you buy it from somebody who knows about selling on Ebay.
Check to see how many of their feedback is from buyers.
Do your homework before you spend your money.
PS- Want to know the Dropshipper I bought from? it's the top dropshipper on my list.
Please let me know if this guide was helpful. Thank you.
UPDATE: I have since stopped selling at the Power Seller pace but my wholesale list ad has a picture of the eBay Power Seller certificate.
