The Basics

So the eBay ads say that you can find "IT" on eBay, but unfortunately it would appear that "IT" does not include porn listings such as adult DVDs, adult toys & novelties and other adult items.  Lucky for you, today is the day you learn how to buy porn on eBay!

The first thing you need to know is that buying porn on eBay takes a little bit more effort than you may be used to.  First off, you need to be at least 18 in order to enter the adult section.  eBay verifies this by making each user enter a valid credit card number on the site, as well as agree to a lengthy disclaimer that absolves eBay from any wrongdoing and ensures that each user is of legal age to be consuming adult materials in their city or region. 

Once you have verified your credit card number, you can start to get to the adult section on eBay.  Under the Categories link in the menu, click on "Everything Else."  eBay makes this the very last category in the list, so it's right after "Video Games."  After clicking on "Everything Else," click one more submenu which is "Mature Audiences."  At this point, eBay will show you the adult section disclaimer to make sure you are an adult.  Once you verify that you are an adult, you've arrived!  You are now in the adult section on eBay!

Buying Adult Items

The section with the most adult items is the DVD section, which currently has 32,627 auctions available to browse.  Subcategories include Fetish, Gay, Lesbian, Straight and Other, so as you can see, there is definitely something for everybody.  It appears that many sellers in this category are selling homemade compilations of amateur footage they've collected themselves and burned onto homemade DVDs.  There are plenty of legit DVD sellers such as myself.  You can check out my listings here.  I have the lowest prices on the net for stars like Teanna Kai, Cytherea, Lilly Thai, as well as specialty titles like Pornomation.

Anyways, back to business.  So if you are going to be buying homemade compilation DVDs, you should always make sure that the seller is honest in the description.  Many sellers use pictures of women to sell the DVDs, but the women advertised aren't actually on the DVDs.  Most sellers are upfront and honest about this, but others aren't, so it's buyer beware.

Also, you should know that most adult sellers use private auctions so no other bidders can see your username to protect your privacy.  However, if the seller leaves you feedback for an item, it will still show up on your eBay feedback page.  The auction number won't be listed, but if your seller has a name like HotPornoDVDSeller, it will be pretty easy for most people to guess what you bought and received positive feedback for. 

If this is an issue for you, most sellers don't mind not leaving feedback.  In most cases, all you need to do is send the seller an email before you purchase an item asking them not to leave you feedback.
