When looking for used parts on eBay, you want to know a few things first of all. Year, Make, and Model and VIN number. those are the most important things you need to know first of all.
Then it comes down to the part your looking for. Basically if it is on your engine (the part) you want to know what size the engine is. that can be very very important when searching for parts that bolt onto the engine like alternators, power steering pumps, water pumps things like that. Let me explain it a little bit better if it goes under the hood know the engine size.
For parts like fenders, hoods, doors, always know what kind of car you have like a coupe, hatchback, sedan, or convertibale. This is important because some parts will only fit those types of cars like doors because one will be bigger than the other. Always remember left means driver side and right means pasenger side. Production dates are always nice to have handy, you can find those in the drivers side door jam. Or on the door itself.
Always know what you are buying wheter its a used part, new part, aftermarket, or oem? Things to find out and look at listings are warranty information? Shipping information? All listings should have that information in there but if they dont always ask there is no such thing as a stupid question. You can check out all of our parts and listings at our ebay store here:
I hope this guide has helped you and if you have anymore questions or need help please check out our store and you can talk to me there.
