- PACKING A careful seller always protects your investment with enough packing to insure a cushion between your package and their shipping box. They examine each car to insure that the mounting screws in the bottom of the car do not allow the car to move during shipping. It is amazing how many sellers have displayed these treasures and then put them in their styrofoam containers and ship them loose allowing severe damage. I have had my heart broken on several occasions when finding a shattered masterpiece. Don't forget to request that they recheck this before shipping. It is a small thing to ask and protects you and the seller heartache and extra shipping charges when you must return damaged goods.
- PAYMENT Always pay PROMPTLY after the auction closes. You and the seller will be on much better terms if you bid with them again.
It is important for you to understand that these are not just plastic models glued together. There is NO GLUE used in the manufacture of these cars. There should never be glue smears on your cars unless it is stated in the listing and you understand that you are buying the item as is. Reputable sellers never list MINT cars without examining them thoroughly. Some sellers bid against you on cars they deem too cheap and resell them later. This is common and excepted practice. Don't let that deter you from determining how much YOU are willing to pay to get your collection. HAPPY BIDDING!
