First and foremost the most important thing about store bought haircolor is: It will never com out the same color as the swatch (hair piece) you see on the shelf at the store!!!
-
Remember the golden rule !!!
-
Store color is not the same as professional color... it has metalics in it that over time will ruin or damage your hair
-
Do not use the color all over your head everytime you redo it (unless you are changing your color) This will prevent hair from damage and drying out
-
Avoid constantly changing your hair from dark to light (you might end up with a funky color)
-
If it says apply on dirty hair, shampooing the night before is good enough
-
Coloring your hair is like using crayons if you try coloring a yellow crayon over a black crayon it does not make it yellow. It just makes an ugly mess
-
Avoid bleaching (mainly highlighting) over store color metalics and bleach don't mix well
-
If hair turns green or any other scary color get professional help a.s.a.p
-
The best store haircolor is l'oreal
-
Always use a color treating shampoo with a good conditioner.
-
Use a deep conditioner 1 to every two weeks to repair damage
-
If you leave the color on your hair longer it does not make a difference follow the time it says, after so long the color no longer works
-
Get color off your skin by using rubbing alcohol
