People always tell me that they are unsure what movies to rent or buy. With the cost of EVERYTHING these days, they don't want to make a bad decision and spend their money on something that turns out to be stupid. For that reason, I have created my list of 10 movies everyone should see. At thie time, I'll simply list them. In the near future, I will be adding information and a review of each selection. As far as I can figure, these are the best pieces of cinema to ever have been produced. You may agree with all, some or none. That's what makes the world interesting.
A truely great movie happens when a great story, a talented cast, a thoughtful director, appropriate sets and the right soundtrack all get together and work together. You can have all of these elements and not have a great movie if they just don't work well together. It's a kind of a soup. If one ingredient is off, it doesn't work. When they all work together, when the chemestry is right, you have something that feels warm and soothing going down and keeps you nourished and satisfied afterwards.
