Part of the fun of putting on makeup is experimenting by mixing and matching various colors and shades for different looks. However it is important that when you choose a color, it suits You! It goes with your skin type, sking color, and eyes. If you have dark skin tones, bright red blush won't blend into your skin, no matter how hard you try to rub it in. And if you're pale, black eyeshadow won't win you any admirers - instead, people will be asking you who won the fight (or maybe they'll just think you're goth). Be realistic and keep reminding yourself that certain colors and ingredients look better in their packaging and on other people.

Facial makeup (concealer, foundation, and powder) was invented to make your skin look flawless. Nobody has flawless skin, thier skin simply appears that way. If your skin type is dry or normal to dry use liquid or cream for your facial makeup. If your skin is normal to oily use oil free liquid or powder. If your skin is oily use oil free liquire with a matte finish. If you have a combination skin type use what you feel works with your faces chemistry. For example if you put on a cream and it just doesnt blend in and look right chances is it is the wrong type of makeup for you.  Make sure that when you pick out a facial makeup color you get the color that is closest to the color of your skin. You want to make it look as natural as possible.

Eye makeup is one of the easiest ways to change your look. Eye makeup consists of eyeliner, eyeshadow and mascara. With a quick sweep of a brush you can go from cute and innocent to the bad girl that gets everything she wants. You always want to make sure that your eye shadow coorindates with what your wearing and it is the right color for you.

slate blue
gray
plum
If you have green eyes these colors best suit you:

pink
salmon
mauve
If you have blue eyes these colors best suit you:

brown
carmal
Remember these are just what best suits you and doesnt mean that they are the only colors that will look good on you!

When chosing a color lipstick you want to make sure that it goes with your complexion. If you are pale a dark brown wouldnt look good on you. If you are dark skinned a light pink wouldnt look good on you. It doesnt matter if you apply your lip stick or lip liner first. Just make sure that if you are going to wear lip liner that it blends with your lip stick other wise it just looks horrible.

Blush is the finishing touch of your makeup. Blush is what makes your makeup look complete. Just make sure that you pick the right color blush. This might seem silly but it is the best way to make sure that you are wearing the right color. First run in place until you feel tired and your face starts to get red. Notice that color? That is the best color that you want to use. You can always go color then that. Anything darker then that natural coloring will look fake.
