Hi Ladies,

I am here to give you advice on what type of jewelry MEN like!! The most popular items are gold chains and bracelets. Figaro, Cuban, Marine, and Rope Links are the classics and will always be in style. They also are great for any age range. Further growing styles are the box chain, herringbone, and snake chain. Men between 18-25 generally prefer silver chains. 26+ generally prefer gold chains. www.stores.ebay.com/chipollajewelers.... check out the Mens Chains category and Mens Bracelets category.

Crosses:

If he already has a chain then the best accessory and most popular would have to be a CROSS. Men 18-25 usually prefer the larger style cross.....approx 2-4 inches in length. Often with Cubic Zirconia Simulated Diamonds. 26+ generally prefer a more traditional size of 1-2 inches in length....usually with a diamond-cut design or smooth finish.  www.stores.ebay.com/chipollajewelers.... check out the Crosses category and Charms category.

Rings:

Over the years Mens rings have steadily grown more popular each year. The new trend seems to be stainless steel rings and deservingly so. Stainless steel never needs polishing like silver. Its a very hard metal that does not scratch or nick easily. Its also very affordable and modern. The average size for men is a size 10. Size 8 is normally used for a pinky ring. The more tradional ring would be a gold ring....often with a onyx stone or cubic zirconia simulated diamond setting. Silver Rings are very popular with Men between 18-25. www.stores.ebay.com/chipollajewelers.... check out the Mens Rings category.

Sizing and Clasps:

Now that we have the styles down. Sizing is just as important. The average mens chain is 24 inches in length...which would hang to upper chest. 18-20" would be ideal for smaller built men or teenagers. Chain width is also very important. 10mm is a wider chain that is generally prefered by men between 18-25 years old. Its flashy. 3mm-6mm is thinner and subtle. Generally 26+ years of age.

The average mens bracelet is 8" in length. Men with larger wrists usually wear a 9". 8-10mm is the ideal width for a mans bracelet.

The average mens ring is a size 10 U.S. Size. Size 8 is generally used for a man with thinner fingers or as a pinky ring. Size 14-Size 15 is usually as large as a ring comes and is Big.**Its best to order the proper size then to resize the ring later. Gold plated and Silver plated rings can not be resized**

Often buyers ask me what is the best clasp. To be honest, they all are very good and its just a style preference. Lobster Clasps are the classic clasp that usually are found on chains and bracelets. Then there are Foldover Clasps which fold and snap into place. Also very secure. Then there are Button Clasps. A button clasp is extremely secure. It snaps 2 pieces together and unsnaps by pushing a button and pulling. Its not easy to take off but its extremely secure.

I have been selling jewelry on Ebay for over 7 years and hope my advice can help the ladies buy for the men!! Any questions please email me .Please visit my ebay store for the items listed above at www.stores.ebay.com/chipollajewelers.
